Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to join our team in Chicago, USA, for an industrial project in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing industrial construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specified quality and safety standards.
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment on-site.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, particularly within the industrial sector (FMCG experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, safety regulations, and local building codes.
Excellent project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and digital collaboration tools.
Fluent in English, and right to work in the USA.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Availability to relocate periodically to client sites if necessary.
